Day 2

Today we went to the second tallest building in the world(who knew half of the second tallest building in the world would be a mall) We also went to Liberty Square which used to be an army base. Then we went to a market, they had really good name brand purses for three american dollars (100 Taiwanese Dollars). I was able to buy a lot of nice jewlery for my family for under 3 dollars(i bought a nice bracelet for $1.50. Tommorow we are riding the high-speed (200 mph.)train all around the country.

Day 2 (Morning)

Last night it rained a lot, it was the most rain Tapei had in 8 years, all of the streets were flooded we had to stay inside for a long time because the van couldn't drive out.  Some of the streets even had fish in them from nearby fish farms.

Day 1

The trip today was pretty good. China Airlines are way better than American Airlines, instead of everyone watching the same movie, on the back of the seat in front of you, they have a tv screen, and you have a remote, so youu can watch anymovies you want, and play games,music, or the radio. The flight from LA to Taiwan was 11-12 hours. I only slept for about a hour on the plane.

Tonight we are sleeping in a hotel owned by Tzu Chi represenatives. We are staying here for 2 nights, then we are staying at the university.
